WHAT IS THE FASHION PITCH?
Startups go head to head to offer up ideas or solutions, based on technology and digital media relevant to the fashion world.
- An early-stage startup, pre series A, which means – having not yet reached one million Euros in funding.
- The entries must have a B2B component and be dedicated to the fashion industry.
- Competing startups pitches should focus on European consumers & brands
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Each candidate must complete the online entry form and acceptance of the rules here.
Applications will only be accepted in English. All material must be submitted online no later than twenty seven (27) September 2013. The material will not be returned under any circumstances.
BOARD AND JURY
The board is composed of heads from Pitti Immagine, FieraDigitale and Tecnamedia.
The jury is composed by some members of the board and mostly from key operators (manufacturers, distributors and retailers Italian and foreign, Italian and foreign journalists). The commission will make the first selection of candidates, identifying the start-up that will enter the final phase of the competition. The latter will be held on 16 (sixteen) October 2013, during the event Decoded Fashion in Milan. The jury will be responsible for appointing winner or winners (see below).
No later than 4 (four) in October 2013 a maximum of six finalists will be selected up to the discretion of the Committee. The results will be communicated to all the finalists by email.
The finalists will undertake at the request of the board to present the event Decoded Fashion in Milan, on time and at their own expense.
During the event, the jury will indicate, in its sole discretion, one or more winners, up to a maximum of three.
The jury reserves the right to designate one or more winners even in one of the project areas, and not to declare any winner.
The winner or winners will receive a cash prize of 10,000 Euros and the opportunity to participate in the next edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence with a stand that will be assigned according to the criteria selected by Pitti Immagine and FieraDigitale themselves.
Pitti Immagine, FieraDigitale and Tecnamedia reserve the right to also launch promotional events and communication, in a manner of their exclusive competence, in order to enhance and sustain contact the winner with the market. It also reserves the possibility of communication and information activities dedicated to the entire community of winners and finalists.

The processing of personal data collected in the course of The Fashion Pitch takes place in accordance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, n. 196.
The Fashion Pitch is a promotion excluded from award shows (Article 6, paragraph 1 of Presidential Decree 26/10/2001 n. 430)
